BABYMETAL

METAL’S PHENOMENON AT LIFEPARK İSTANBUL ON 1 JULY!

Japanese metal phenomenon BABYMETAL play Lifepark İstanbul on Wednesday evening, 1 July 2026, organised by Neo Events. Combining the power of metal with high-energy choreography and flawless stage production, the group promises an epic night in İstanbul.

Born in Japan, BABYMETAL shattered every cliché by combining the energy of J-pop with metal riffs. The group is SU-METAL on vocals with MOAMETAL and MOMOMETAL on “scream & dance”. The journey that began with their self-titled album Babymetal (2014) exploded globally with “Gimme Chocolate!!”. That same year they packed out the Budokan, becoming the youngest act ever to do so, and in 2016 they sold out Wembley Arena, the first Japanese metal band in history to do it.

Having made history in the UK with their Wembley headline show, left their mark on Glastonbury and sealed their global breakthrough with their first US arena show at The Forum in Los Angeles, they reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with METAL GALAXY and became the first Asian act to top the Top Rock Albums chart. A ten-night run at the Budokan in 2021 and the 2023 concept album THE OTHER ONE grew their stage vision further, and support slots on Sabaton’s European tour plus Asian and Australian legs widened their audience worldwide.

BABYMETAL’s success lies not only in music but in building cultural bridges: the electronic-dance fusion “RATATATA” with Electric Callboy, and the power-metal energy of sharing the stage with DragonForce’s guitarists… each strengthened their “borderless” identity.

Mark your calendars to see BABYMETAL live with a huge production and a high-octane setlist in Lifepark’s natural setting. Doors open at 17:00. A support act, to be announced, plays at 19:00, and BABYMETAL take the stage at 21:00.

This is not just a concert but the continuation of a dream that spread from where a phenomenon was born to every corner of the world — and that dream starts again at Life Park on the night of 1 July.
